Servo ("we", "our", or "us") provides a mobile app that helps users find nearby fuel stations, compare fuel prices, save favourite stations, manage price alerts, and use optional account and subscription features. Depending on how you use Servo Spy, we may collect the following categories of information:
1. Location information
If you allow location access, Servo Spy uses your device location while the app is open to show nearby fuel stations and estimate distances. For example, this is used when you ask Servo Spy to find the cheapest station near you.
2. Account information
If you create an account or sign in, we may collect information such as your email address and authentication identifiers returned by Apple Sign In, Google Sign-In, or magic link authentication.
3. App preferences and saved content
We may store your selected state, favourite brands, saved stations, commute preferences, notification settings, and related in-app preferences so the app works as expected across sessions and devices.
4. Price alerts and user submissions
If you create price alerts or submit fuel prices, we store the information needed to provide those features, such as station selections, target prices, and submitted price details.
5. Push notification data
If you enable notifications, we may collect and store a push token so we can send you app-related notifications, such as alert-related updates.
6. Subscription and purchase status
If you purchase Servo Pro, we receive subscription status and entitlement information from our subscription provider to unlock paid features, restore purchases, and manage billing access in the app. We do not receive your full payment card details.
How We Use Information
- Provide nearby station search, pricing, and distance-based results
- Create and manage your account
- Sync saved stations, alerts, and preferences across devices
- Enable sign-in with Apple, Google, or email magic links
- Support subscriptions, restores, and entitlement checks

How Information Is Shared
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Servo Spy. These may include:
- Supabase for backend infrastructure, authentication, and data storage
- RevenueCat for subscription and purchase entitlement management
- Apple and Google for sign-in and platform services when you choose those features
- Expo / platform notification services for optional push notifications
We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of our users or services.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention may vary depending on the type of data and whether you maintain an active account.
Your Choices
- You can deny or revoke location permission in your device settings.
- You can disable push notifications in your device settings.
- You can stop using optional sign-in features and subscription features at any time.
- You can contact us to request account or data deletion, subject to legal obligations.
Children's Privacy
Servo Spy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, depending on the infrastructure and service providers used to operate Servo Spy.
